Who builds Journex

Journex is a small project from Holzgerlingen, Germany. The app is built and is being prepared for the stores right now. This page says where the idea comes from, who works on it and how to reach us.

Where the idea comes from

The reason is an observation, not a market gap. Plenty of people between 16 and 25 have something that bothers them and a rough idea of what could be done about it. What is missing are the first steps — and someone trying the same thing in the same month.

That turned into Journex: ten steps, each ending with proof instead of a checkmark, and once a month a task a whole squad works on at the same time. No course, no certificate. At the end something exists that did not before.

Why we build it this way and what comes next is on the vision page.

Vision and roadmap

Who works on it

  • Lars Haberland

Responsible for the website and the app. Questions about data protection and legal matters go to him; the full details are in the imprint.

  • Nils Haberland

    Co-founder of Journex.

That is all that stands here. No CVs, no titles, no photos — a placeholder image would be worth less than none.

What this website does not say

Journex is new. A lot of what usually stands on a product website we could not back up today. So it is not here.

  • No user numbers, no success rates.

There are none yet. As soon as there are solid numbers, we will name them.

  • No quotes from users.

We do not quote anyone who has not agreed, and we do not invent people.

  • No price.

Whether and what Journex costs is not decided. All we can back up today: the current app has no ads and no in-app purchases.

  • No dates.

For features that are not built yet we give no date. What is in progress is labelled as such.

  • No images that make a claim.

We would rather write one sentence too many than show a screen or a mood that does not exist that way.

Where your data sits is on the safety page — including the part where conversation and proof content goes to Anthropic for analysis. The rest of the data sits on servers in the EU and can be exported or deleted for good in the app.
